• Sweet Sensation was an all-female trio consisting of Margie Fernandez, sister Mari Fernandez, and Betty Lebron. 
• After recording a few demos together in the mid-1980s, the girls were signed to Platinum Vibe Productions. For their song “Hooked on You,” Sweet Sensation was signed to another record label, Next Plateau Records.
• “If Wishes Came True” was included on their second album, Love Child. The song was released under the Atlantic Records label.
• “If Wishes Came True” was written by Deena Charles, Robert Steele and Russ DeSalvo. The song was much different from previous material from the band, which primarily handled the freestyle genre.
