• The song’s title was adapted from Wonderwall- from Psychedelia to Surrealism, a 1968 film for which George Harrison Provided a soundtrack. The song was initially titled Wishing Stone.
• Besides topping the charts in New Zealand and Australia, “Wonderwall” also reached the top 10 in thirteen other countries. It peaked at 8 in the United States and 10 in Canada.
• The track also ranked at position two both on the Irish singles Chart and UK singles chart. The US Recording Industry Association certified the track Gold, while the British Phonographic Industry certified it sextuple platinum.
• “Wonderwall” remains one of the most popular tracks produced by Oasis. It was voted position one by an Australian alternative radio station. Many other musicians like Cat Power and Ryan Adams have also covered the track. 
• “Wonderwall” was the first 1990s song to hit a billion streams on the popular music streaming site Spotify.
• “Wonderwall” was recorded in wales at the Rockfield Studios during a 2-week recording of the album Morning Glory in the May of 1995.
• Alongside Gallagher, Morris produced the song within half a day using a brick walling technique to make the music sound more intense.
• Liam Gallagher was the lead singer of the song, with all the band members except Paul Mcguigan contributing to the recording. Noel Played the bass instead of McGuigan.
