“Take A Chance On Me” is the second track on ABBA’s fifth album. The Swedish pop group Titled this album “AABA: The Album” and released it on December 12, 1977. The single “Take A Chance On Me” was released later in January 1978. The song was released in Sweden, UK and US through respective local record labels.

ABBA was a band made up of two married couples. The name is an acronym of the first letters of their names arranged as a palindrome. The supergroup released Take A Chance On Me in 1977; the song reached the top ten on UK and US charts.
